Katie McFadden

I create short films in which humans are seemingly adrift in unfamiliar landscapes. In an attempt to discuss the fractured relationship between us and our surroundings.

Katie McFadden is a filmmaker and artist born in Ireland. Her work deals with issues surrounding the digital age, and belonging. Deeply focused on the landscape her work often questions the purpose and impact of humanity on the natural, illuminating the increasingly fractured relationship between humanity and the authentic.

Katie McFadden has recently graduated from Dun Laoghaire Institute Of Art Design + Technology, and currently resides in Berlin. She has exhibited and screened works internationally at the Station to Station film festival, RCC Donegal, Zollamt Galerie, Galerie HBK Saar, Roheline Saal Tallinn, and IMMA. She is currently carrying out an internship with Fracto Film Festival.
